Rescued from Darkness is a Christ-centered ministry led by Pastor Bruce Craig, devoted to helping people step out of spiritual darkness and into the life-changing light and freedom found in Jesus Christ.
Rescued from Darkness into God’s Light
We believe that no heart is too broken, no past too heavy, and no darkness too deep for the saving power of Jesus Christ. Through the cross and the resurrection, God lovingly reaches into the darkest places of our lives and calls us into His marvelous light. At Rescued from Darkness, we walk alongside people who are weary, wounded, and searching, pointing them to the One who is the Light of the world.
Pastor Bruce Craig knows this truth personally. Once bound by sin, shame, and hopelessness, he encountered the transforming grace of Jesus. The Lord lifted him out of spiritual darkness, restored his identity as a beloved child of God, and ignited a passion to help others experience the same rescue. His testimony is a living reminder that when God turns on the light, everything changes.
We stand on God’s promises: Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). The psalmist declares, “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light” (Psalm 18:28). These truths shape every prayer, every conversation, and every step we take in this ministry.
Freedom in a Relationship with Jesus Christ
True freedom is not just the absence of struggle; it is the presence of Jesus. Our mission is to help people discover that freedom is found not in self-effort, religion, or perfection, but in a living, personal relationship with the Savior who loves them and gave Himself for them.
Through teaching, prayer, discipleship, and compassionate care, Rescued from Darkness invites people to bring their fears, addictions, wounds, and questions into the light of God’s grace. As we surrender our lives to Christ, He breaks the chains that hold us captive, heals our deepest hurts, and leads us into a new life of hope, purpose, and peace.
The Bible tells us that God “has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves” (Colossians 1:13). This is the heartbeat of our ministry: to see people rescued, restored, and released into the fullness of life that God has prepared for them.
